Apple Announce iOS 7 & OSX Mavericks

iOS7

Amongst the WWDC keynote announcements overnight were new versions to both iOS and OSX.

iOS 7 is a complete overhaul of Apple’s mobile operating system, it has a fresh new look that dispenses with the gawdy, dated wood, leather and felt in favour of a sleek, modern and unified look across the system. Amongst the new features are AirDrop for easy file transfers, a sleek new version of Safari and Control Centre - providing a long overdue fast way to access key apps, media controls and functions such as Airplane Mode, Bluetooth & Wifi.

The new version of OS X leaves behind feline monikers with the name OS X Mavericks. Amongst the major new features are Maps, finder tabs, tags, & iCloud keychain, an easy way to sync passwords across all your devices.

We will offer upgrade services for both Operating Systems when released later this year.

July Already and Mac OS X Lion

We’ve reached the half way point for 2011 and the big news this month is the release of Mac OS X Lion. There are many great new features and, as with every OS update, there will be hardware and software that is no longer supported. In the next few days we will give details on our Lion ‘Vet check’ package to help you get ready and ensure a smooth upgrade.
